If you're converting customers in-person—whether in your physical store or at an event—you can manually create subscriptions from the Bocs dashboard. It's a simple two-step process:
Step 1: Create the Contact
Go to the Contacts page and click Create Contact. Here you can enter all the necessary details, including:
First and last name
Email address
Phone number
Credit card details
Shipping and billing addresses
Make sure all the fields are accurate—this info will be used when creating their subscription.
Step 2: Create the Subscription
Once the contact is created:
Go to the Subscriptions page and click the Create Subscription button.
Use the lookup field to find the contact you just created (or select an existing customer who’s already in your system).
Check the box next to their name, scroll down, and click Select.
Next, assign a subscription box:
Use the same lookup process to search and select the subscription box.
If it's a custom box, you'll be able to assign their specific product selection as well.
Set the subscription frequency.
Once everything is set, click Save at the top of the drawer.
Bocs will automatically calculate the next payment date based on the selected frequency. If you need to adjust it, simply open the subscription again and change the next payment date manually.
